URGENT MESSAGE!!!!

All Participants!

This morning I received a call from George, the director of the Boone County Fairgrounds. He had made a terrible error in scheduling and had double booked April 11th. The other event had already sold tickets for that day, was expecting over 500 attendees and to say the least, he was very distraught.
Instead of cancelling our event completely, something that I did not want to do, we came up with an alternate date of April 25th.
I realize this creates a lot more work on my part to advise everyone and change calendars, etc. but there has already been a lot of hours put in on this and I didn't want to just blow it off.
Some of you may have conflicts with the 25th and I am sorry, this was out of my control and a complete shock to me as well. If you are unable to attend that day and you have paid, please contact me with your name and address and I will reimburse you.
I hope those of you who do not have conflicts will not shy away from participating just because of the date change. We have 44 participants registered with 25 confirming with their payment.

I don't see this as a bad thing….I have plenty of time to make the calls, send the emails and get the word out and, with all of your help, I believe this is just a bump in the road.
Everything happens for a reason and I believe this could be a positive change!
There is a huge yard sale that is taking place on that day as well and it will be drawing a crowd which will no doubt spill over into our event. I see a win/win situation here!
I hope you will see the cup half full as well!

In order to pay for some advertising, I am asking that the participants pay for half of their fee by March 15th....$30.00. The balance of $30 will be collected on the day of the fair.

If you would like to set up on Friday evening, please let me know what time! I will need to know ASAP. I will have help available for you after 5:30 pm on Friday evening and on Saturday morning beginning at 8am.

If you are offering a drawing for any giveaways, please email me with that info so that I can add it to the advertising.

We presently have 25 participants....we need at least another 25 so please pass the word! I am also searching for musicians to play music during the fair for 2 hour intervals. If you know anyone who would like to share their musical talents please have them contact me!

Location: Boone County Fairgrounds

Time: 10am-6pm

Cost per vendor: $60.00

This includes:
the rental for the building
2 million dollars liability insurance
advertising costs
One 8ft table per vendor & chairs
Access to electrical outlet
P A System
No Vendor license required
Set up on Friday

The Fairgrounds will provide a concession stand so no one will be able to sell food or drink but you can offer samples if you wish.

Info on participation in 'W'holistic Health Fair 2009

Welcome and thank you for your interest in our community 'W'holistic Health Fair 2009!

In order to secure a location for this event at the most minimal cost to the exhibitors and to share with advertising costs, we need an idea of how much interest the holistic community has. We want to include all natural/alternative health related services/products but it will be limited to only one representative for each product related company. These representatives will be chosen by whomever responds first.

We would like to see participants in all areas of 'W'holistic living....organic, nutritional, environment, health, spiritual, etc. If your particular expertise or product benefits a more natural way of living, we would love to have you!

If you have interest in participating as an exhibitor, please send an email to
w-holistic2009@hotmail.com and include your area of expertise and/or company that you will be representing along with any questions or comments you may have.

You must have your email to us no later than January 31, 2009. We will contact you once a location, date and time have been established.
