URGENT PARTICIPANT MESSAGE
URGENT MESSAGE!!!!
All Participants!
This morning I received a call from George, the director of the Boone County Fairgrounds. He had made a terrible error in scheduling and had double booked April 11th. The other event had already sold tickets for that day, was expecting over 500 attendees and to say the least, he was very distraught.
Instead of cancelling our event completely, something that I did not want to do, we came up with an alternate date of April 25th.
I realize this creates a lot more work on my part to advise everyone and change calendars, etc. but there has already been a lot of hours put in on this and I didn't want to just blow it off.
Some of you may have conflicts with the 25th and I am sorry, this was out of my control and a complete shock to me as well. If you are unable to attend that day and you have paid, please contact me with your name and address and I will reimburse you.
I hope those of you who do not have conflicts will not shy away from participating just because of the date change. We have 44 participants registered with 25 confirming with their payment.
I don't see this as a bad thing….I have plenty of time to make the calls, send the emails and get the word out and, with all of your help, I believe this is just a bump in the road.
Everything happens for a reason and I believe this could be a positive change!
There is a huge yard sale that is taking place on that day as well and it will be drawing a crowd which will no doubt spill over into our event. I see a win/win situation here!
I hope you will see the cup half full as well!

Participant Update
In order to pay for some advertising, I am asking that the participants pay for half of their fee by March 15th....$30.00. The balance of $30 will be collected on the day of the fair.
